Ben & Hannah’s Cheshire Wedding – Peckforton Castle

“We did a lot of research into Wedding Photographers and after we met David & Jane we knew we had made the right choice”

Ben & Hannah’s wedding was always going to be something special and on a grand scale, after all Ben proposed to Hannah during Afternoon Tea at the Ritz and as big fans of Downton Abbey a small venue was never going to fit the theme….. and wedding venues don’t come much bigger and grander than Peckforton Castle in Cheshire.

Hannah & Ben are from very close families and they played a huge part of their wedding with Hannah’s Mum & Sister helping Hannah into her amazing Justin Alexander Wedding dress and her veil that was embroided with their initials & wedding date, Ben also looking the part in his Navy Blue Hugo Boss Suit.

The Wedding Ceremony took place at St Cuthberts by the Forest and after a tunnel of bubbles it was back to Peckforton Castle and some amazing photographs in the woods all topped of with the most amazing ‘golden hour’
Ben & Hannah where so amazing to photograph, they where up for anything…. Walk into the thick wood, no problem. We just love them!!!!

One of the funniest parts of the day was the meal…. We had 2 waiters who where getting more & more drunk and generally not being waiters only for them not to be waiters but The Rat Pack Boys singing waiters that really got everybody in the party mood.

The Great Hall at Peckforton Castle really comes to life in the evening and with the Funtime Frankies getting the party started and Andy Murphy keeping it going what a party it turned into… we even had confetti cannons and an exploding magician.

Ben & Hannah planned their wedding so well & the day was just fabulous with their favourite part being saying their vows infront of family & friends and even though their wedding was on such a grand scale nothing else mattered just that special moment between the two of them.

A huge thank you to Ben & Hannah for choosing Stanbury Photography as their Peckforton Castle Wedding Photographers and here is a small selection of our favourite images from a memorable Cheshire Wedding, enjoy D&J xx

Ben & Hannah’s top tip….
“Be organised! When taking all your decorations etc to your venue, make sure you label everything! Peckforton Castle were fantastic but I didn’t want to leave anything to chance so I separately boxed all our favours, candles, decorations etc and labelled them explicitly with where I wanted them to go, that way I could relax on the morning of the wedding without worrying”
Thanks also to Lily Rose Events, James Wray, Pink Sherbert Stationary, Tamaryn Treasures, Creative Cakes, The Northern String Quartet, Stuart Barklay & Sam Fitton Magician for making the day so special for Ben & Hannah and if you’re planning your Cheshire Wedding at Peckforton Castle then get in touch and lets chat about your amazing wedding photography. Dan & Georgina’s Cheshire Wedding

Dan & Georgina’s Cheshire Marquee Wedding

A marquee in the beautiful Cheshire countryside was the location for Dan & Georgina’s wedding reception and what a perfect wedding it was. Glorious sunshine, Pimms on the Lawn, a Jazz band, everything you need for the perfect English Wedding. One of the best parts of our job is witnessing the love between two people and Dan & Georgina are inseparable and their love for family & friends was evident as the church in Mobberley was packed with well wishers. The reception was held in a marquee in Georgina’s parents garden with the sounds of Jazz, laughter and clinking glass what a gorgeous afternoon in the sun. Great speeches (photobombed by Bobbie the Jack Russell) was the start for a great evening party all kicked of with Dan showing another side to his talents as a DJ. The whole day was just a festival of love & friendship in the most beautiful of settings…as i said earlier, the perfect English Wedding. Thanks to the gorgeous Dan & Georgina for choosing us as their Cheshire Wedding Photographers, what an amazing day it was. If you’re planning a wedding and want great wedding photography, drop us an email. We would love to be part of your wedding adventure. D&J xx

Abode Hotel Chester – Rob & Charlottes Wedding

Abode Hotel Chester Wedding Photography – Rob & Charlotte

We just had to have David & Jane, infact we booked our wedding date around when they where available’

WOW!!! We where thinking of a way to best describe Rob & Charlottes wedding at the Abode Hotel in Chester and WOW just summed the day up, one minute we where walking into the hotel in the morning and in a flash we where partying on a packed dancefloor late into the night. Rob, Charlotte & not forgetting their beautiful daughter Brooke are such fun people to be around, real party animals and their wedding was just one big gathering of family & friends to party with them at their Cocktail themed wedding in the stunning Michael Caines restaurant on the top floor of the Abode Hotel in Chester, drinking cocktails created by Rob & Charlotte and dancing the night away helped by Dancefloor Couture who provided the LOVE letters, saxophonist and the great music ☺ Charlotte looked stunning in her designer dress from Natalie Ann Brides in Liverpool, Charlotte said her favorite part of the day was actually the morning with her bridesmaids & daughter Brooke oh and not forgetting Robs surprise tattoo ☺ and Rob looked the part in his slim fit dinner suit, Robs favorite part of the day was actually the speeches and seeing Brooke & Charlotte walking down the aisle. To continue the party theme Rob & Charlotte honeymooned in Las Vegas & New York. We are so glad that Rob & Charlotte decided to arrange their wedding date around our availability, this was such a special day and one we will never forget. We do hope you love a small selection of our fave images of the gorgeous new Mr & Mrs Gerrard…

A huge thanks to Rob & Charlotte for booking us as their Cheshire Wedding Photographers and if your planning a wedding at the contemporary venue then get in touch we would love to be part of your day. D&J xx

Peckforton Castle Wedding Photography – Oliver & Charlene’s Wedding

Peckforton Castle Wedding Photography – Charlene & Oliver’s Wedding

“We where blown away by the photographs, spectacular wedding photographers”

Ask any bride and she wants to be a princess on her wedding day, and every princess needs a castle and what better location than Peckforton Castle in the heart of Cheshire add to that its where Oliver proposed to Charlene and hey presto…. The perfect wedding location. We where so excited that Oliver & Charlene chose us as their Peckforton Castle wedding photographers and when we met earlier in the year for their pre shoot and we saw the images then we knew their fairytale wedding was going to be special. From start to finish the day was filled with an amazing atmosphere with such a fun group of friends and a close family this made for some great photography throughout the day with Peckforton Castle providing the perfect backdrop. Oliver & Charlene booked us for our signature images and after the meal and speeches with the evening sun setting we went ‘off road’ to get some of our favourite images of the day in the surrounding woodlands, infact these guys where an absolute joy to photograph. The whole day had been building up for the evening party, and as with the day the emphasis was on fun and it didn’t take long for the party to get into full swing. Heres a few of our favourite images from Oliver & Charlenes amazing wedding day, enjoy….. Congratulations to the gorgeous Oliver & Charlene, an amazing couple and an amazing wedding. Happy Fathers Day

Sunday 16th June is Fathers Day here in the UK, a time to celebrate & thank your Dad for being your Dad and so in tribute to Dad’s I decided to do a post with a few of my favourite Father moments captured at our Weddings. I am honoured to have 3 children and when my second Daughter was born the midwife turned to me and said’ David, another Wedding to pay for’. Being a Dad is brilliant but being a Dad to a Daughter is special as you wait all her life for that special moment, her Wedding when she marries that other man in her life, after all Dad has waited all her life for this one moment as I am waiting for mine (but I hopefully have the pleasure of doing it twice).I dont know about you reading this blog but every time I look at these images I see my kids…. playing, laughing, being angels…..asking for money, coming home late!!!!! but I wouldn’t change it for the world, if your a Dad you know what I mean 🙂 Happy Fathers Day to all you proud Dads
