Duns Castle set in the beautiful Scottish Borders is just stunning, think Weddings….think Castles and Duns Castle is just the most perfect of exclusive wedding venues in Scotland but what makes Duns extra special is that its still a family home and home to the fab Laird Hay & Lady Hay, how cool is that.

The story of Dustin & Katherine’s wedding starts quite a while ago when an email came to us from America saying how much they loved our style of wedding photography and would we be their Duns Castle wedding photographers. So after a flurry of emails and Skype calls we arrived at Duns Castle to meet up with the gorgeous Katherine & Dustin along with their closest family & friends who also had flown in from Indianapolis in the USA.

Now this wedding was never going to be like anything we had photographed before as Dustin & Katherine where going to meet before the ceremony and say some special personal words to each other, in America this is called the first look or reveal, then after our photography of to the chapel to get married. We had a feeling that ‘the reveal’ would be emotional but WOW it was such a special moment and something that we will treasure forever.

The love that Dustin & Katherine have for each other is infectious and are just the nicest people to be with and photography is something they are both passionate about so as photographers we where spoiled with the most gorgeous Bride & Groom and the most stunning of wedding backdrops.
