Auchen Castle, set in beautiful Scotland is perfect background for any amazing wedding, it pretty much has it all and add to that all the excitement of your family & friends and your wedding could very easily turn into the most amazing weekend away and its easy to see why Andrew & Claire totally fell in love with it.

Claire & Andrew, along with their 2 gorgeous children and their family & guests, arrived the day before their wedding and celebrated with an evening dinner, a great way for everybody to get to know each other before the big day.

Now we cant go any further in this blog post without mentioning the ceremony…. or more particularly, the owl at the ceremony…. which decided to miss the bestman, Andrew & Claire even me but sadly not the mirror. Dont worry the Owl was fine 🙂

I suppose one of the worries when you book a winter wedding, especially in scotland, is the weather but yet again we had the most perfect weather for their day and we managed to get some amazing photos of the stunning new Mr & Mrs in the Gardens at Auchen Castle.

One of the best parts of being wedding photographers for as long as we have is we get to bump into our past Bride & Grooms and re live their weddings when chatting and this wedding was no different, infact it was one of our previous couples who introduced Andrew & Claire to each other.

Pipers, Haggis, Scottish dancing all topped of what was an amazing few days for us in beautiful Scotland, one of our favourite destinations for Weddings and we are looking forward to our next visit here, but for now here is a few of our fave images for you to enjoy from one of the most epic weddings in a stunning location.
