Its always great to photograph friends as we first met Mark & Rebecca when Mark was Bestman for his brothers wedding a few years ago so it was really great to see familiar faces again.

Mark proposed to Rebecca in the Maldives so with the bar raised the wedding had to be special and boy was it with Mark playing with his brass band before the wedding as guests arrived, photos of sadly missing family members arranged around the room and pianist & live band playing songs special to them.

Their reception venue was also special, they chose the luxurious wedding venue Knowsley Hall and the drive to the hall is one of the most impressive you could witness only beaten by the sheer beauty of the gardens and lounges perfect for Wedding Photography

Rebecca looked stunning in her white Ronald Joyce princess cut gown with lace bodice and Mark looked very dapper in his Ted Baker morning suit their attention to detail was truly amazing, everything was just perfect and made photographing their wedding a joy.

Mark & Rebecca are just ridiculously good looking and ultra friendly people and it was a real honour for us to be their Knowsley Hall Wedding Photographers in fact the honour was multiplied a million as they even CHANGED their wedding date just so we could photograph their wedding.

30 James Street Wedding – David & Suzie

David & Suzie’s 30 James Street Wedding 

David & Suzie are just a fabulous couple, their love for each other is infectious. We first met Suzie at her sisters wedding and it was such an honour to again be part of this amazing families celebrations.

This was our first visit to the stunning 30 James Street Hotel in the centre of Liverpool and we are so happy that they chose us as their Liverpool wedding photographers, we had such an amazing day. The sun was also playing its part as the guests sipped champagne in the rooftop bar with its amazing views of the famous 3 graces and the Liverpool waterfront, just a perfect place to enjoy a perfect day.

Suzie is one of three sisters and as Jane has 2 sisters it felt just like being at home, the laughter and closeness made for some fab photographs in the morning. David, arriving with his best man & ushers, was a little nervous, after all he had the speech and a dance to do. I don’t know why he was worried as his speech was perfect and their first dance….. WOW, brilliant.

This was such a great wedding to be part of with so much love & happiness what more could you ask for…. oh what?? a sunset??? Liverpool waterfront even delivered the most amazing sunset, as if this day wasn’t perfect enough.

We Instantly had a good connection, their work is amazing!!! 

As summer is quickly fading away memories turn to an beautiful summers day for Jessica & Rob’s amazing wedding at the stunning Knowsley Hall, now stunning is a word used many times on blogs but in the case of Knowsley Hall then the word stunning really fits and we are so honoured that they chose Stanbury Photography as their Knowsley Hall Wedding Photographers. Jane grabbed a few shots of Jess at the hairdressers and then back at the family home (random fact, they keep ostriches) where Jess put on her beautiful Mori-Lee Bridal gown. I met Rob at the Church in Halsall and as guests arrived there was a really good atmosphere, this was going to be a great day. As I said there a few wedding venues more stunning than Knowsley Hall and its impressive front & gardens that make the most perfect backdrop for the photographs and as a Knowsley Hall wedding photographer the light indoors is just perfect and made for some of our favourite shots of the day. Rob & Jessica’s favourite part of the day was their first dance as Husband & Wife then the evening really got going with DJ Jeff Wood getting the party started and the dance floor never emptied. What a perfect end at a perfect venue for a perfect wedding on a perfect day. Then it was off to the Maldives & Dubai for their honeymoon…. Well why not.
